Report Worksafe BC Violations

The Clean Air Coalition of BC receives complaints on an ongoing basis that establishments are not complying with the current Worksafe BC (formerly Workers Compensation Board) Regulations. These complaints include instances where, for example:

  • Workers are working in Designated Smoking Rooms (DSRs) for more than 20% of their workshift; or

  • Doors to DSRs are kept open and tobacco smoke is drifting into smoke-free sections of a restaurant/bar.

If you are a worker, or member of the public, and want to make a complaint concerning establishments that are not complying with the current WCB Regulations, please contact the Worksafe BC Information Line:

Note: Worksafe BC is required to follow up on every complaint within two days of its receipt.
